Florida resident Edward Dovner has over three decades of experience as an entrepreneur. A savvy businessman, Edward Dovner has initiated, expanded, and sold companies for more than 30 years. Raised on a farm an hour south of Boston, Massachusetts, he developed a diligent work ethic and applied the focus and perseverance to a number of flourishing businesses in the 1980s.
Edward Dovner left his hometown and moved to Florida where he joined the hotel staff of The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa. During his three years with the hotel, Edward Dovner learned a great deal from his fellow co-workers and the successful and interesting patrons that often visited. At the age of 21, Edward Dovner left The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa and joined Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (MetLife) as a Sales Agent. In his three years with MetLife, he became the leading sales agent on his team and earned praise from superiors. When he was 24, Edward Dovner began his career as an entrepreneur. Since then, he has founded an honor snack vending business, a gourmet coffee roasting company, and a body-protection manufacturing venture.
In recent years, Edward Dovner has turned his focus to inventions. Throughout 2011, several infomercials will be launching his fitness products which include an abdominal workout machine and other workout pieces. Edward Dovner designed portable fitness equipment that would give people a complete workout. Additionally, he also designed a storage system for bicycles called Bike in the Air, which will be launched for commercial use in 2011.
Actively involved in his community in Delray Beach, Florida, Edward Dovner supports several local events and regularly donates to many charities. Additionally, he also contributes to Catholic Charities USA and to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), an organization dedicated to research of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
