Interact Marketing Hits Double Digit Growth in First Quarter of 2019

As a result of an expansion in its sales force and regional coverage as well as a concentration on vertical markets, Interact Marketing reported double digit revenue growth in Q1 2019.

Following the company-wide first quarter theme of “See Clearly Now”, Interact Marketing doubled down on Mastering the Rockefeller Habits outlined in the book Scaling Up by Verne Harnish, and refined internal processes, including more procedural communication between finance and operations. The Rockefeller Habits, serve as the lens through which management conducts day-to-day operations and strategic planning sessions, and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs).

After creating a digital dashboard in line with one of the Rockefeller Habits, the Interact Marketing operational team was given access to important KPIs, as well as how revenue and profitability was tracking with projections. Department leaders and account managers now have insightful access to tools that measure their billable utilization and profitability on an account by account, basis as well as for their respective departments. This assures that the full benefit of clients’ retainers are maximized and provides more oversight into how efficiently tasks are performed by individual employees.

The combination of these efforts helped fuel an unprecedented growth quarter. Since founding the company that would eventually become Interact Marketing in 2007, CEO Joe Beccalori and his team have served over 250 clients in search engine optimization, web development & design, social media marketing and online reputation management. This quarter signifies the beginning of a new phase in the company’s history.

On the record growth, Beccalori said, “We’ve really come into maturity with our offerings for various verticals. At the same time, client and staff attrition is at record low levels, and inbound sales inquiries have increased by over 25% primarily driven by networking organizations, public speaking, and an increase in our own online marketing. For the first quarter ever social media has outperformed search for the in terms of new sales leads.” Being consistent with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings helped bring the team’s operations in line with increased client onboarding from sales efforts.
